Large wind mills turn very slow but are geared to speed up the generator to about 1800 rpm or more. Don't? waste your money on a windmill from a big box store, research before you buy a wind generator. The dynamics of blade design for a diy project are far too much for most people and I studied aerodynamics, a vertical wind turbine is much easier and safer.

Really, it could be loads better and has hardly any practical uses outside of a hurricane or tornado prone area.

From your coil setup it appears to be ac. Are you rectifying it to dc to charge a battery bank or is this grid tied? What sort of speed contol if any did you implement? Do you have a way to defurl the sail in high wind to prevent damage? Lots of? questions I know.
