Hi. Thankyou for your comment :-) If your acne scaring is in the form of 'pick' marks then I doubt Chromawhite would work on that. If it is 'post inflamatory hyperpigmentation' left by the acne then yes, it should have an effect on that. There are many options for you if it is pick marks left behind by acne, some laser treatments are? very effective. Hope that helps but do msg back if you need any futher info :-)

I do! The ones that I have a a form of milia. There are many reasons that people get them, but one is if the skinis sun damaged then it can become thicker. The oils in the skin? are prevented from escaping by this thickening coveringthe exit and so they build up inside and create these goosebump like things, Some people get them as white pearls. Sometimes it can be remmoved by exfoliation, but your best visiting a skin therapist or dermatologist to see exactly what they are. Hope thats helps.

I think alot o people our age just didnt think about going out in the sun without spf. The best thing that you are doing is using spf 30!! This means that you wont be doing anymore damage to your skin, and also if you start? a course of treatments for pigmentation the spf is essential as any hint of the sunlight stops the process of it getting better. There are alot of treatments out there and ill be doing some vids soon on Chromawhite TRx dermalogica's range - please do take a look.

I used to play alot of football and go fishing alot and never bothered to use sunscreen. Now I'm starting to have hyperpigmentation. I need to get rid of the dark spots and I use Proactive SPF? 30 on my face everyday now, even if it's not sunny outside. I'm only 27 too.

Yes,? it certainly can! Even on overcast days, UVA rays get through the clouds and cause damage on a low level. My best advice to anyone is to wear SPF15+ minimum. Its been on the news that Melanoma is now the biggest type of cancer in women, it is also one of the most deadly forms as it spreads so quickly to other organs of the body. Its estimated to be the biggest type in men soon. This is scary stuff, so im going to be on a campaign to get everyone to use SPF15+

This is a great reminder. I used tanning beds for years and I have stopped. I use a gel bronzer from Clinique which looks great. Here is another point, if you take medication it can make the damage worse.? You make look good short term with a suntan but there is nothing attractive about skin cancer.

Great advice Matt.. Don't worry about the scan.. if you average out the 34 year old patches with the 20 year old areas you probably have an average of about your age anyway! I'm sure all the care you take now will mean you have a 34 year olds skin at the age of 44 anyway! x Also, we should all remember other lifestyle factors that can cause problems for our skin, Smoking, diet and alcohol to name a? few!

All I can do is try my best and educate people - even if I reach 1? person that converts away from the idea before they start then my mission has been fullfilled.
