As bad-ass as these guns look, I fail to see the point in building a pump gun with so short of a magazine.? It's not purpose built, I get that. And an alternative like I'm thinking of would have to be just that, purpose built. When I think of a short barreled shotgun, it's a double barrel, like "Mad Max" had. (And then I think about classic superbikes and I could give a crap about guns.) The sbs or o/u SG has longer barrels for same oa length. Better would be SG like H&K P11 w 2 or 3 or 4 barrels

I know a guy who? can play Euphonium, Baritone, Tuba, Trumpet, French Horn, and Trombone and also sings in the High School's Jazz Choir (Top Choir) and plays Trombone in the Jazz Band (Top Band)... He's pretty freaking awesome.

Jack Teagarden was one of the pioneers of playing the trombone in the higher register back in the 20s, 30s, 40s. He did it so that he could play fast as he didn't have to leave the first 2 or 3 positions, or so I've? learned on YouTube.

Without a doubt he is a beast, and I've never heard ANYBODY with a tone quite like his. Nobody has ever been able to bring a packed concert hall to their feet and screaming with a trombone solo. The raw exuberant and energetic sound that he is able to get out of the horn actually reminds me of Cannonball Adderley. ...And I'm sure he has Bach, Conn, King,? and Yamaha all contacting him to sponsor him with custom bones 24/7.

Yes. but he is still a beast regardless of the mouthpiece, I'm still shocked he is that CLEAN and has that much endurance, I've never tried any other mouthpieces especially for high playing though, his tone is amazing. That's? probably a custom bone too. im looking at a Bach 15EW myself now so we'll see how that works out

You're totally right about? that, probably assists with the switching between trumpet and trombone too. On the bone, he usually avoids the lower register, most likely because it is harder to hit those notes with authority if you are using a smaller mouthpiece.
