I have a better way to cheat using your method. First, your teachers would get suspicious about you? all of a sudden acing the test everytime you walk over to the podium. So you would get caught. Second, I would memorize the answer like you, but I would use Shyanne caugh and sneeze and whatever. So if the first answer is A, and she cough, that means cough means A, and if she sneeze when the answer is B, that means sneeze is B. So next 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th test, I would use Shyanne.

I think it's just easier to use "he," and is less awkward, poetically. Just a guess. I think that your second point is valid, but I also think that it is *exactly* the message that the video is trying to make. "We" (parents, school teachers, etc.) need to pay more attention to the kids and their needs, and? that would have to include hearing from them...because sometimes "we" suck at knowing the right thing to do for our kids...at least, that's my interpretation. YMMV. :)

Who claimed that p.s. is bad and h.s. is? good? Certainly not this video. Home schooling isn't even mentioned. It's great that your son excelled in what was obviously a good school. Many people aren't so fortunate as to have a gifted child, coupled with a school that provides such opportunities as an orchestra. What if your school had no music or sports, with teachers who are burned out? Some schools are great, many are average, some terrible. Your son was one of the lucky ones.

Ok I get the point...all students are different and should not be put into a cookie cutter mold to be educated. However, a child's educations is NOT the sole responsibility of the school. The CHILD has to be actively participating and putting forth an effort; education doesn't just happen. Also, the PARENTS need to be a support system at home; help your children succeed by being actively involved in your child's education. School just gives the tools; the? child and parents need to USE them.

My son went to public schools for 13 years. He studied viola through the school strings? program from 4th grade. He auditioned for Youth Symphony and he has played there ever since ... eventually becoming principal of the viola section, winning nearly a dozen statewide awards and being selected three times for the state honors orchestra. He's an honor roll student and his athletic accomplishments are too many to list. So beware of broad claims that public school is bad and homeschooling is good.
