I did take a bath before the packing was removed from my nose. I took a shower after the packing was removed, just? was very careful not to get my face too wet. I use a warm facecloth with a very mild cleanser to wash my face. I think the total was $6800, includes everything.

From what I can tell my nose will still fit my face, that was a concern of my surgeon. I have a rather prominent chin so we? didn't want a little nose,, just a better shape. I'm not looking forward to having this metal cast off,, I think I'll need a Valium!

my dad has this done when i was little. he was disappointed, only because they took the hump out and did tip work (he just wanted the deviated septum and crookedness fixed). I loved how his nose looked after though, it was still large but other wise perfect and fit his face and features very nicely. I haven't had this but speaking on watching my dad's, when? they take that metal thing off, it will hurt (its how they have to take it off that hurts, doesn't linger), but not as bad as the packing.

I did snore and I have always been a "mouth breather" My right side is still swollen and more bruised? than the left, I'm assuming that was the worse side. The bruising is not so sore to touch as long as I stay away from my nose area. But ya, I've felt better, lol.

Wow you're brave. Is the blue and yellow brusing sore to touch? I have been procastinating about getting my nose and throat checked out coz I? can't really breath thru my nose when i lay down which results in snoring. Did you find having a deviated septum caused you to snore?

Thank you for your reply! I have not paid a dime for all the treatment and she will continue the treatments for free as long as I wish. I will keep getting as many treatments as my time allows, it does help with the texture and softens the scars. These things happen when you try to make ourselves better when we never really needed anything in the first place. I had good skin too. No acne, no pigment problems or anything, but of course I wanted to be better. I got a? Vi peel and it changed my skin for the worse. My skin texture is rough no matter what I do and My skin breaks out like yours does too. Again, I am so sorry. I feel your pain girl. You are very beautiful and you look very young too. No worries. by the way, i just want to add that when i first got really bad acne, i looked like i had been burned all over my cheeks, it was all scar tissue, shiny like yours. but it did actually get better with time, so even if your treatments doesnt help it might still become more like normal skin if you give it a few years. I wish you the? best, i know what its like to always have problems with your skin =/

I've never done a chemical peel but i've actually gotten these problems since i did fractional laser to remove acne-scars, I've gotten the bumps that you talk about, never had anything like that before the fractional, and also no pores in some areas. And i think she kind of slipped a bit with the laser? by my chin cause i have more scars there now. And the skin looks alittle melted if you look closely, like strings of melted skin. I've also gotten more acne since this treatment.

There is a message board which is mainly for people who've had IPL (intense pulsed light) or laser and got terrible results including permanent fat loss in the cheeks and scarring. One person who posted at the forum had a chemical peel that went awry. Perhaps you can post yours. Just can go to yahoo and type "IPL and laser damage support" or such. I believe lasers are safer than chemical peels, having said that, things can go wrong with lasers also. I have had luck with lasers and they? seem more controlled than a liquid peel. Just do tons of research on the actual person who you want to do the laser. The more experience they have the better, doctor or spa. Although, doctors seem to be more aggressive. Best of luck,, just stay away from chemical peels. Keep me posted! XO

I DID NOT do the peel myself. I went to a very well know and respected Doctor. Actually, they? just won one of the top 10 businesses in Colorado. You just never know what can happen. I even mentioned that I was very concerned about scarring or burning my face. Everyone said that doesn't happen.

I had my first fractional laser prior to Xmas. Im really pleased with it except the first day when I was red, burnt, swollen and sore.? After the first day it dried up and it still looked awlful, but as you said great within a week. I have to get another 2 treatments done. They say you dont need to take time off work, but I think 1 or 2 days is needed coz i was self conscious about people staring and asking what happened? lol!

My pores are so small, almost naked to the eye! (a good thing) I will always have? the pigment loss and scars as of now. Unless someone comes up with a miracle and can bring my pigment back and erase my scarring,, I will live with the pigment loss and scars. Not ideal at all as I spend a lot of time in front of the mirror covering the flaws. Also, I do not feel comfortable going out in public with out makeup as the skin did-coloring is so obvious. I would say it can take up to 4 weeks for the grid makes to subside. But,, unless someone is looking at you with a magnify glass they will not be able to see? the grid marks. Definitely within a week you should be looking pretty awesome though. Just keep the face hydrated at all times. Also,, the skin doesn't really flake off, just really dry for a while. Mostly your skin will be swollen and red for a few days with a very fine sand-like texture. Good luck!!

I would say it took about 6 weeks to really start seeing the results. It is a very? slow process but worth it at the end. My hair is very full and healthy now, I'm just waiting on getting my length back :) Oh, and I want to add,,,, My hair fell out no more or less for those first 6 weeks. So it is very much like waiting for a huge pot of water to boil. XO

I am a little worried about what will happen if I stop,,, but it's really not that much of a pain to do. I am slowly tapering off on some things. I will keep up with the shampoo, conditioner and vitiamins,, that is easy. As? for the laser comb, I do that every now and again. I will keep notice of any and all changes that happen with time,,, i will never let it get to the point where I am losing my hair again!! Whatever it takes! XO

I get everything done for free because I've had issues with the first 25%TCA chemical peel. I have loss of pigment and scarring due to the chemical peel.? They take pretty good care of me now, (as they should) I do believe the treatments would normally run around $350-$550 though.

Just had laser yesterday and put cannabis oil all around my face as moisturizer ....it took just 15 minutes for all the pain to cease ....that was exactly an hour after having the? procedure done that all the pain was gone. Slept with the oil on and still have the same oil on it now ....just 3 hours short of a full 24 hours from the laser...

Thanks Hans! Actually I keep the cooling pads in the freezer, I can wash the outsides of scooby doo and bucky in? the washer as long as I take the insides out (gel part) On the gel parts I use just soap and water. Have a great time filming your brother, that's really cool!

Another great video and thanks for the shout out. Great tips on the cooling pads. Do you place the cooling pads in the frig to keep cool and are they washable? I need to do? some comment response video blogs soon..I will plan to do more soon. I'm getting ready to film my brothers band this weekend. I don't think a spa should even be giving peels if they do not have the right products to send you home with for post care!!! How you treat your skin? is essential after a peel because you need to recover, using a product that is too harsh will lead to more burning and cause skin trauma! The results of your 'light peel' are the effects of someone who had this done given little to no education on it.There is really nothing you can do if you have signed a waiver for the treatment.

I started breaking out in high school and over the years my? complection got a lot better, but it left me with scars around my neck, checks and temples.They were not that bad, but it's always bothered me. Five years ago when I was in my late 20's I opted to get laser treatments.That was the biggest mistake I ever made.The treatments left me with hyperpigmentation on my checks and temples. It also left burn marks around both eyes because of the goggles you have to ware. I understand your pain.

I feel huge sympathy with this lady.I did a TCA on my stomach in Jan to get rid of old 30 year old white stretchmarks,which weren't that noticeable anymore anyway. I ended up burning myself badly too.I can only imagine how it feels to have burns on her once perfect face.Thank heavens? for small mercies it wasn't worse and she still has her looks! One thing I learned is not to pick at the scabs while they're healing;it leaves scars. New skin grows every 30 days & recovery is a slow waiting game.

i dont care what they tell you. i believe you do have a case for a suit. you went in undamaged and came out damaged. whos fault would it be? they may not give you millions, but the paw says they have to restore you to a whole state. meaning they have to shoulder the burden of expense to repair all this damage.? now, if they are doing the laser and etc at no expense, then i guess basically thats what theyve agreed to do. but i be damned if id be paying them for that!

I think that the Fractional Laser Resurfacing would definitely help your skin. Although I am still scarred and lost pigment in places, I can't imagine how my skin would look without the laser treatment. I has helped me recover, this I do know. I had a chemical peel go wrong a few years ago, after 2 weaker peels the clinic upped the strength (no idea why but I believed it would help; I was desperate to get rid of my acne and scarring) but this burned my skin slightly, resulting in a mild (but noticeable) red hue and small craters where the burn was the most severe. I tried dermabrasion to even out the scars but? that didn't help. I'm wondering whether or not you think this would help my case? It definitely seems to be helping you!!!
